DESCRIPTION:I’m Rowan painter\, 18 years old\, from Houston Texas. I became addicted to vaping marijuana at a young age which led me to feel depressed and I was totally shut down. Then\, I progressed to use more drugs\,  like injecting meth. I have been in and out of recovery for 3 years with some challenging situations\, but I’m so grateful to say\, I now have achieved 8 months of sobriety. My life has completely changed and the obsession to get high is no longer haunting me.  And on a lighter note\, a fun fact about me is  I love the reality TV show Survivor and have studied the game since its conception.  My dream is to one day be picked to participate in the Survivor challenge. Please join me to hear more about my recovery story on Nov. 4\, 2022.\n\nJoin us on the first Friday of every month for messages of hope and healing from the impacts of marijuana. We welcome a different speaker every month who will share their experience and provide pathways to find serenity as we navigate through today’s pro-marijuana/drug culture. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one or trying to recover yourself\, this meeting is for you. You will be a Q & A at the end of each meeting.
