Every Brain Matters Monthly Speakers Meeting- Darryl Rodgers
Darryl Rodgers is a speaker, author, and family recovery coach living in Cary, North Carolina. At the age of 19, Darryl began a career as a corporate pilot. Ā He served as a medic in the Army National Guard and became a copilot on the AH-64 Apache helicopter. Darryl and his wife, Kim, have been married for thirty-two years. They are the proud parents of two boys, Justin and Chase.Ā In 2014, the oldest of their two sons, Chase, died in a marijuana-impaired wreck after struggling with addiction for a year and a half. Now, Darryl is a family recovery coach, who specializes in working with parents of drug-addicted children. Darryl also serves on the state advisory Ā board of NC Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Join us on the first Friday of every month for messages of hope and healing from the impacts of marijuana. We welcome a different speaker every month who will share their experience and provide pathways to find serenity as we navigate through today’s pro-marijuana/drug culture. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one or trying to recover yourself, this meeting is for you. You will be a Q & A at the end of each meeting. This meeting is appropriate for all family members ages 16 and up.
